Had sex. Used condom and spermicide. Condom broke. AIEEE!! So we both went down to Family Planning the next morning (early), and told the doctor what happened. She wrote me up a script for the morning after pill, and we went straight to the chemist to get it made up.

The doctor had warned me that I might feel nauseous, and there was a list of other side effects, some to ignore and some to go back to her urgently. I felt none of them.

I'll never know if I would have been pregnant, and frankly, I don't care. I'm happy with my life, much happier than I would have been if I'd had a child, especially at that stage and that age.
